The distance between us
“The most exciting attraction is between two opposites that will never meet.”
(Andy Warhol)
The territory holds the traces of the relationships that shaped it.
When those relationships break, the landscape remains, but loses continuity.
Houses, roads, and industrial structures persist as isolated presences, without a shared role.
The distance is not geographic: it appears in the way these places are crossed, without belonging.
This work observes what remains when community and territory no longer coincide.
